Marc Anthony Jackson (born January 16 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player in the NBA for the New Jersey Nets. After a career at Temple University, he was drafted in the second round (37th overall) of the 1997 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors, however he did not commence play with them until 2000. Fearing that they would lose out as there was no guarantee he would sign a second contract with them, the Warriors traded Jackson to the Minnesota Timberwolves before the trade deadline in February 2001, where he played for 1 seasons. In 2003 he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. They traded him to the New Jersey Nets during the 2005 offseason, after a deal to bring in Shareef Abdur-Rahim from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Nets fell through.
